SOLE Mentoring ProgramIn 2023 SOLE launched a mentoring program for post-doctoral students, assistant professors, and early-career researchers. This program pairs junior scholars with established scholars for a one-year program. The program begins with a mentoring session at the 2025 SOLE meetings and concludes with a similar session at the 2026 meetings. In between the two in-person meetings, mentoring groups will meet remotely for mentors to provide feedback on mentees’ research in progress and general advice about navigating careers in labor economics. Mentees are expected to attend both the 2025 and 2026 SOLE meetings in person. They will be included on the program in each year, as participants in the mentoring session in 2025 and as presenters in 2026. (Of course, mentees may also be included in other capacities.) The mentors for the 2025-2026 year are:
